These versatile fixed blades are astoundingly light and substantially thinner than many of the tactical knives available on the market today. The Peace Makers’ compound-ground blade bevels make them very easy to re-sharpen and their stiff, distal tapered points are capable of piercing even thick material.
As these inexpensive boot blades offer a wide spectrum of uses (utility, hunting, fishing, emergency rescue and survival, etc.), it is fitting that they also have a versatile grip. They feature a thin, rectangular handle with subtle contouring and pronounced palm swell. A double quillon guard protects your precious fingers, while a thumb trough in the butt further enhances versatility by facilitating a comfortable and robust reverse grip. The expertly designed handles are deeply textured with a course-stippling pattern and provide the leverage you need to take full advantage of the knives’ astounding cutting and piercing power.
Cold Steel®’s ambidextrous polymer sheaths with custom-made stainless steel belt clip make them effortless to carry.
German 4116 Stainless Steel
4116 is a fine-grained stainless steel from Germany often used in the pharmaceutical Industry and in high-end kitchen cutlery. Its carbon and chromium content is balanced for excellent corrosion resistance and strength. Capable of taking a very fine, sharp edge, it makes an excellent choice for outdoor hunting applications. Cold Steel®’s 4116 stainless steel is sub-zero cryo-quenched for markedly increased strength, hardness and durability and superior edge-holding potential.
